Mark Neveldine

Marc Neveldine was born in Watertown, and then attended Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY, making the dean's list there a number of times. He studied drama as well as psychology and later moved to Manhattan where he acted in almost thirty off-Broadway productions, but later moved to being a cinematographer of music videos, documentaries, and a tv pilot. Later he co-wrote and directed Crank, a crime thriller starring Jason Stratham and Amy Smart. He was set to direct Jonah Hex, an adaptation of a comic book, with Brian Taylor but they reportedly left due to "creative differences", though they are still credited for the screenplay.
